How to escape guards in Break and Steal an Egg

Source: Roblox experience page · Supporting sources below

I treat the guard as the real opponent, not the egg. Aprasi’s guide says a hit drops the animal. The creator’s own line is “steal them and escape the guards”. If your crack is fine and your base is empty, this is the page, not another pickaxe.

What the guides say the guards are

Aprasi reports giant chickens, yetis, sphinxes, and hydras, changing with the zone. The zone table lists guide recommendations, not tested guard speeds. I do not have damage numbers or a measured slow effect.

The practical test from the zone guides: if you crack the egg and still lose it on the path, your bottleneck is escape time, which means a trail, equipped, not another pickaxe tier. The multipliers are on speed.

Routes I will not recommend

I will not tell you to reset your character into a wall, pause the Roblox process, or use a script to freeze guards. Those are the suggestions that show up around the sister game’s private-server threads, and they are the opposite of the script safety page. Stay in a zone whose speed target you already meet, then step up.

Other players can be going for the same egg, especially a titanic spawn. The guide note is that several people hit one egg. I have no rule for who receives the animal. Do not assume a “last hit” I have not seen.

Questions

What happens if a guard hits me?

Aprasi says you drop the animal. The run does not pay until a later trip puts one in the base.

Which trail should I equip?

The best one you have already bought. An unequipped trail does not help the escape.
